Privacy Policy

Last updated: November 7, 2026

This policy explains what personal data Radar Signal Media LLC, trading as Metals & Machines (“we”), collects, why, and what you can do about it. We collect as little as we can.

1. What we collect

  • Your Telegram account details, when you start our bot or join one of our channels through it: your Telegram user ID, and the username and first name you set in Telegram. We don't see your phone number.
  • Who invited you, if you arrived through a referral link, and which friends joined or subscribed through yours.
  • Payment details, for Pro. Pro is sold through Link (link.com), the merchant-of-record service of Stripe, which collects your payment method, email and billing country. In our payment dashboard we can see the name and email you gave at checkout; our bot keeps only your customer and subscription references, your plan and the payment status — never your card number. To stop referral abuse, we also keep a code that recognises the same payment method again without revealing it: Stripe's card “fingerprint” for cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay; your Cash App customer ID for Cash App Pay; and for Link, a one-way code (a hash) made from your Link email address. We never keep your card number or that email address itself.
  • Nothing from your visit to this website. We use no analytics, no advertising and no cookies. The only thing kept in your browser is your choice of light or dark theme, if you use the switch, so the next page opens the same way; it never leaves your device. Fonts and images are served from this site, not from third parties. If you arrive through a referral link, the code is kept in this site's own links as you browse, not stored. Our host may keep standard server logs (such as IP addresses) for security.
  • Messages you send us, through the bot or by email.

We don't ask for, and don't want, information about your finances or investments. Our bot doesn't answer personal questions; please don't send it any.

2. Why we use it

  • To give you access to the channel and plan you chose, and to remove Pro access when a paid plan ends (performance of a contract).
  • To run the referral program and prevent abuse of it (legitimate interest).
  • To process payments, refunds and disputes, and meet tax and accounting obligations (legal obligation).
  • To understand which content is useful and to improve the Service, from overall figures such as channel views (legitimate interest).
  • To reply to your messages.

We don't sell your personal data and we don't use it for advertising.

3. Who processes it for us

  • Telegram — delivering the channels and the bot's messages. Telegram's own privacy policy applies to your use of Telegram.
  • Stripe and Link (link.com) — payments, tax, receipts and subscription management. As merchant of record, Link handles your payment data under its own privacy policy.
  • Our automation server (n8n, self-hosted on a virtual server rented from Hostinger) — keeps the member and referral records described above.
  • GitHub Pages — hosts this website.
  • Cloudflare — registers our domain and forwards e-mail sent to contact@metalsandmachines.com.
  • Google (Gmail) — our inbox.

These providers may process data in the United States or other countries. Where the law of the EU, the UK or another country requires it, these transfers rely on the safeguards in the providers' own terms, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

4. How long we keep it

We keep your member record while you use our bot or channels, and for 24 months after your last activity or the end of a paid plan, so we can answer questions about past payments, refunds and referral rewards. Payment records are kept by Stripe and Link for as long as tax and accounting law requires. Messages you send us are kept for 12 months.

5. Your rights

You can leave a channel or block our bot at any time in Telegram, and cancel a paid plan from the bot (My account) or at link.com.

  • Everyone can ask us to access, correct, export or delete their data by writing to contact@metalsandmachines.com. We answer within 30 days.
  • In the EU, the UK and similar laws (GDPR), you also have the right to restrict or object to our use of your data, and to complain to your local data protection authority.
  • In California (CCPA/CPRA), you have the right to know, correct and delete the personal information we hold, and not to be treated differently for using these rights. We don't sell or share personal information for advertising.

To delete payment data held by Link, you can also ask Link's support at link.com; this cancels any subscription bought through it.

6. Children

The Service is not intended for anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect their data.

7. Changes

We will post any changes to this policy on this page and update the date above. Material changes will be announced in our channels.
